Blogger Jan 2012

Hello World,

A friend of mine sent me a link to her Blogger stating she was going to use Fbk less. This reminded me I have an account with Blogger, which is now part of Google. So, I thought I'd just pop in here and see what was going on...

I do have my own namesake website: www.dawndrury.com, which on the About page gives all the other social places to find me, except on Google (I wasn't doing Google at the time). However, since Google itself is a search engine of massiveness I think if one searches for me they would find 'all' of me, LOL.

Therefore, for anyone who finds my little Blogger page: Happy 2012!

Time is passing faster

I believe that time is relative, literally. Time might be defined as a year = 365 days or a minute = 60 seconds but I think it has sped up. Even thought we still see 60 seconds = 1 minute whose to say 60 seconds isn't passing quicker than it did in say 1900.

I heard someone once describe God sees past, present, future because he's above looking down on the time line in say a horizontal line from left to right. Therefore, He always is, will be, and will never change and is always the same.

Christians can be attune to this in their spirit as the Bible says I will tell you what you need to know if you would just listen (my wording).

So, if you feel the day, week, year are passing quicker than last year, I truly believe IT IS. Do you think time has sped up even though our measuring tools can't discern it?

Times are tough

No matter who you are I'm sure you are having a tough time of it in some area of your life. There are so many areas of life to protect, maintain, and others in our lives that we also struggle with to live their life.

Only God can help. I truly believe that and confess Jesus is Lord of my life even as I sit here in tears. I must believe He knows what's best for my life to Glorify His.

My prayer is that I would fulfill His plan while on this Earth.

First Expo

I've been busy creating up a strom to sell at my first expo. It will be in Homer Township, IL (near Lockport, Homer Glen) on September 19, 2009.

Figuring out how to display artwork on a table. Buy those plate holder thing stands or use a box, or just lay flat? Decisions, decisions...

Third Client

My third client is going to have a site at DeBoo Realtor. I'm looking forward to making it.
